If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Amanda. =)
I'm thirty-something years old (but a very early thirty-something!) and I'm blessed to be the momma of twins after two long years of infertility. I'm a registered nurse, and I do photography as a hobby. I used to shoot weddings almost every weekend, but after the babies came, I just didn't have the time anymore... and, let's face it, when you have two new babies at home, who really wants to up and leave them for a second job? Not moi.
I'm married to Jeff, who's a transplant to Louisiana from Ohio. He's a country boy who would much rather be outdoors than stuck inside four walls. Fishing, hunting, working in the yard, you name it.
We are surrounded by tons of extended family - both of our parents live within 15 minutes of us, as well as numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.... you get the picture. Family is so important to us, and we absolutely love having everyone so close.
We haven't had a family pic taken yet, so I'll have to leave you with a shot my good friend Melissa Cannon did of me and the babies during their six month photo session. Once I can drag Jeff into the studio, I'll post our family pic. Or, I may just draw a stick man into this one. Who knows?
